/CNW/ - The Canadian Association of Journalists is pleased to announce that it is partnering with Hot Docs, the largest documentary festival in North America
, to co-present "Reluctant Revolutionary."
An intimate portrayal of the beginning of the Arab Spring, British filmmaker Sean McAllister was one of the only foreign journalists left inside Yemen. His new film follows a "reluctant" Yemeni tour guide in Sana'a who struggles to understand and survive his country's uprising.
McAllister was also in Syria in October 2011, and was arrested, imprisoned, and eventually deported.
The CAJ invites delegates to its 2012 convention on Friday, April 27
to attend a Hot Docs
screening of "Reluctant Revolutionary
" at 9:15 p.m.
